... In The House is an extemporaneous
music and moving pictures project.
The name of the project was inspired by
my original "scratching" experiments. Prior to the
rise in popularity of the turntable being used as
a scratching instrument, I was forced to experiment
with vinyl record scratching in music production. The
house my parents moved into was of inferior construction.
Every time that I stepped on the floor the record would skip.
To avoid ruining my record collection, I purchased a Bang & Olufsen
turntable. The salesman claimed that it would not scratch
my records.
Thus... the experiments in scratching began! Once my record collection was safe from harm, I tried a wide variety of sound tests using the turntable. Since those early production days, I've added keyboards, vocals, guitars, bass, percussion, flute, and other instrumentation.
