WHAT IS FACIAL REJUVENATION ACUPUNCTURE?
Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture is commonly known as cosmetic acupuncture, acupuncture facials, or an acupuncture face lift, because this procedure is a viable alternative to facial surgery and injections. The practice of Facial Rejuvenation acupuncture is over 1000 years old, dating back to the Song Dynasty, when it was created for the Empress and the Emperor’s concubines. After a thorough discussion of your health history, a series of needles will be placed in your body, followed by scalp, neck, and face needles, their location determined by your specific cosmetic goals.

Facial Rejuvenation is more than just a cosmetic experience. Treatments are designed for each individual, addressing their general health in addition to their cosmetic goals. This creates an overall feeling of relaxation, well being, and increased health.

How does Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture work?
In Traditional Chinese Medical terms, treatments works by increasing the flow of Qi to the face. In Western terms, the treatment increases collagen production as well as blood and lymph circulation to the face and scalp.

What can Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture do for me?
Diminish facial fine lines and deeper grooves and furrows.
Reduce facial puffiness and swelling.
Firm jowls and double chins.
Minimize bags under the eyes.
Tighten pores and brighten eyes.
Smooth uneven skin tones.
Reduce and smooth dark circles under eyes.
Combat acne, dry skin, and other skin problems.
Treatments also address overall health, so other health or hormonal issues can be addressed during the session.

How many treatments will I need?
A series of twelve (12) treatments is recommended to get the maximum benefit. Maintenance sessions are recommended seasonally. Once the full series is complete, most people appear 10-15 years younger and with maintenance treatments, the effects last on average from 3-5 years.

Are there any contraindications for this type of treatment?
Facial Rejuvenation treatments are contraindicated for individuals who have pituitary disorders, high blood pressure, heart disorders, pacemakers, diabetes, vertigo, Meniere’s disease, Aids, or hepatitis.

When can I expect to see results?
Many people see some results after their first treatment. The effects of treatments are cumulative, and results are more dramatic and lasting after seven treatments.
