North Penn Hospital is proud to offer home care services through our affiliation with the North Penn Visiting Nurse Association. Together, we meet the health care needs of our community. "Here to serve. Here to stay."
In addition to skilled home service, the NPVNA offers the following programs and services
Well Child Clinic--Nearly 700 area children benefit by the medical services offered by the Well Child Clinic. Some services provided include immunizations, check-ups, hearing and vision screenings to families who have little or no health insurance. The program is funded by the United Way as well as corporate and individual donors.
Meals on Wheels--More than 20,000 meals are prepared and delivered to area residents each year through the North Penn Visiting Nurse Association's Meals on Wheels program.
Hospice Care--"The sooner we become involved, the sooner we can make a difference." The Hospice team is a highly trained, dedicated interdisciplinary group of professionals and volunteers specializing in the care and support of patients and families facing terminal illness. Under the direction of a physician, the team includes a nurse, social worker, home health aide, chaplain and hospice volunteer.
Adult Day Care--We offer day-time respite care and supervision to physically or cognitively impaired persons at less than 25 percent of the cost of in-home or institutional care. Subsidies and a sliding scale are available.
Skilled Home Service--The North Penn Visiting Nurse Association provides private, personalized, professional and compassionate home health services for people of all ages.
